There are changes coming. Lots of them. For now, I’ll be giving only the vaguest of notions because there is still a chance for everything to fail. Job-wise, my workplace is going to be much more pleasant soon. Life-wise, I don’t seem to be so down as I ususally am at this time of year. It’s not that I don’t miss my mom. Far from it. I’ve been reacquainted with old friends, and I’ll soon be meeting new ones. I’m finding it easier to type, partly because I’m allowing myself the luxury of not stressing over being the next Hemingway, and partly because I was just plain out of practice. There will be an actual communication blackout for me soon because I’m going to Gulf Wars on Wednesday, and I have no clue if I’ll be able to get service or electricity for my phone. That won’t affect much on this site though, since if it were a child, I’d be prison-bound for criminal neglect. Things are starting to look a little like a katamari – at first I couldn’t affect much, but now I’m knocking over trees and rolling up people!
Also – my favorite line from my last post: At the other end is a door that you suspect conceals one person removing another’s brain through fornication. So far, rereading it has not failed to make me laugh.
